My name is Anna and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I’m a bookseller and student by day and by night… well, you can probably find me curled up in my bed with a book and a big cup of tea. Very exciting. I also love being outdoors, eating bread, and playing the violin.
I read somewhere recently that there is a Japanese word (tsundoku), which translates to “the act of buying books and not reading them, letting them instead pile up unread on bookshelves and nightstands”. Confession: I am a serial tsundokist. I have way too many books, I buy way too many books and sadly, I often don’t get around to reading them all.
So I guess this little blog is my attempt to fight tsundokism. Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to share your tsundo-cures.
